Training for: Code Enforcement, MBOIA

Topic: Sue Baker, Coordinator for the Maine State Floodplain Management Program and Werner Gilliam, Sr. Project Manager for Walsh Engineering Associates, will present a training session on the updated FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps. Topics covered will include the availability and use of the digital mapping tools and the importance of reviewing Letters of Map Change (LOMAs/LOMRs) prior to permitting. Requirements for floodplain management permitting and common mistakes will be covered.

This training will count towards (TBD) for 2 CEU’s hours.

Cancellations for MBOIA Workshops:
Cancellations must be submitted using this Cancellation form to cancel your registration for an event. Cancellations received before 11/29/24 will be assessed a $15 administrative fee for processing. Cancellations received on/after 11/29/24 will be charged 50% of the course fee (minimum of $15.00). Any registrant who does not attend and does not cancel their registration (i.e., no-show) and any cancellation received the day of the event will be charged the full registration fee.
