MBOIA is co-sponsoring with the Maine State Fire Marshal’s office to offer certified training for code officials in the following topics and locations.

These will all provide full day training credits. This is intended for builders and design professionals.

Session description: This seminar will assist in implementing the transition from the 2015 IRC to the 2021 IRC. It will include relevant changes in the 2018 IRC and the state adopted amendments made by the Technical Codes and Standards Board.

If there is inclement weather, a decision to postpone will be made by 5:00 pm the day prior to the event. MMA encourages attendees to check the MMA website before traveling to ensure that the event schedule has not changed.

QUESTIONS/CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations must be submitted using this Cancellation form to cancel your registration for an event. Cancellations received 5 days before the event will be assessed a $15 administrative fee for processing. Cancellations received on/after 5 days before the event will be charged 50% of the course fee (minimum of $15.00). Any registrant who does not attend and does not cancel their registration (i.e., no-show) and any cancellation received the day of the event will be charged the full registration fee.
