Who Should Attend: This course is ideal for Human Resource Managers, Town Managers, Supervisors, and other managerial staff; however, anyone interested in learning more about office ergonomics and becoming qualified to conduct ergonomic assessments is encouraged to register.

Course Description: This class will show you how to conduct your own ergonomic assessments in the workplace. We’re going to pull back the mystery surrounding ergonomics and see how observing and suggesting simple and easy changes can make a significant difference in the health and well-being of your employees. This class will discuss Maine’s Video Display Terminal requirements, cause and consequences of poor ergonomics and how having the proper set up can potentially reduce workplace-related musculoskeletal disorders.
