Per Diem Paramedic

Training for: Public Safety - EMS

Rockport Fire Department is currently accepting applications for Per Diem Paramedics

This position is for coverage of a 24-hour shift for a full-time member covering EMS and Fire calls for Town of Rockport

The successful candidates will demonstrate a customer service driven focus, seeking opportunities to engage with and provide the community with top notch care in their daily work.

There will be many opportunities to serve the public, including events such as working within our community with an Open Door Policy, providing CPR/AED/Stop the Bleed Classes, Blood Pressure Checks, Flu Shot Clinics and Sporting Event Coverage, to name a few.

Pay:  $33-$35 hourly based on experience

24hr Shift, or possible 12-hour shifts

Requirements:

Maine Licensed EMT-Paramedic

High School Diploma

Valid Maine Driver’s License

EVOC

Pass a Physical Agility Test, Paramedic Test, Background Check, Medical Clearance

Preferred:

ICS 100, 200, 800
