TOWN OF MEXICO FULL-TIME OFFICERS AND CHIEF

The Town of Mexico is currently accepting applications for full-time and part-time Police Officer positions as well as Police Chief.  Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.  Candidates will be required to successfully pass an in-depth background check, oral interview, psychological exam, medical examination and polygraph examination.

The Mexico Police Department serves a population of approximately 2800 residents.

The Town of Mexico offers competitive wages starting at $30.00 per hour for Law Enforcement Academy Graduates and more for lateral transfers.  Health Care and retirement benefits including MPERS 2C Plan.  The Town offers a competitive signing/retention bonus.
