Richmond Fire Department Hiring 8hr Daytime Per-Diem FF/EMR, EMT, AEMT @ $20.62hr

Training for: Public Safety - EMS, Public Safety - Fire

The Town of Richmond's Fire Department is seeking Per Diem Firefighter/EMR's, Basic, and Advanced. The Department is Licensed to the EMR and Permitted to the Advanced level of Care. This Position pay is $20.62 per hr and 8 hour daytime shifts. 

These are skilled firefighting and emergency medical positions. Work includes responding to a wide range of fire suppression, medical, and traumatic emergencies in a community of 32 square miles with a year-round population of 3,500 +/- that increases in summer months. Essential duties and responsibilities include responding to a variety of emergency calls, operating department vehicles and equipment, and working in sometimes extreme and hazardous conditions all related to supporting the needs of the department and the community.

Applicant requirements include:

 

1) High School graduate or equivalent.

2) Maine EMS License

3) Valid Maine Driver’s License

4) Ability to pass a background check
