The Town of Sangerville, Maine is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Town Manager.

 

Sangerville is a beautiful, small community located in central Maine, Sangerville has a population of 1,300+ residents, and a municipal budget of  $2.1 million.  Sangerville has a Selectmen/Town Manager/Town Meeting form of government with a three-member Board of Selectmen. 

 

The Sangerville Board of Selectmen is seeking a candidate with strong management and communication skills with experience in municipal finance.  Additionally, a comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities associated with the role of Road Commissioner is crucial.   Other duties will be as specified by law and ordinance and to perform duties as assigned by the Select Board.  Candidates should have prior experience in budgeting and personnel management, and the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse volunteer advisory groups.

 

Ideally, candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of recent experience in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.  A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to establish strong public relations are vital qualities for success in this role.
