Town of Alna - Part-time Code Enforcement Officer/Licensed Plumbing Inspector

The Town of Alna is seeking qualified applicants for a permanent, part-time Code Enforcement Officer/Licensed Plumbing Inspector position.  This is a highly responsible professional position expected to work independently and effectively with the Town’s Select Board, Planning Board, contractors, and residents.

The ideal candidate is motivated, with strong communication and public service skills and must have a working knowledge of municipal building codes.  Candidate must be certified or willing to become certified as a Code Enforcement Officer and Local Plumbing Inspector and maintain continuing education in current Maine Uniformed Building and Energy Code, National Electrical Code, Uniformed Plumbing Code and NFPA Codes.
